Stamping Isn't Just Stamping Polish!💅🏼

Stamping Isn't Just Stamping Polish!💅🏼
Being creative is going beyond the limits and rethinking your thinking. Sometimes you just have to think outside of the box. If you have been stamping with just nail stamping polish then you are missing out on a whole new world. In today's Blog, we are going to visit the concept of incorporating other sources of nail art medium to your stamping nail art. Let's Go!!

FOIL

There are 100's of different colors of foil and it is so easy to add to any CjS Stamping design especially with the use of our white or black Sticky Polish. Clear Jelly Stamper sticky polish was one of the best products created because, in order to incorporate foil into my designs in the past, I had to stamp the design I wanted to foil, hand paint foil gel onto that design, cure & "then" apply the foil. It was time consuming and it made the design raised up from the nail. Using the Sticky Polish, transferring foil is quick and flawless. In this design, I used the white Sticky Polish and created a dimensional look on some of the lips by adding foil. So pretty!!

The Clear Jelly Stamper layered stamping plate used for this design is POP Heart (CjSV-22) Steel Stamping Plate.

CHROME

Chrome is another great nail art medium to add to your CjS stamping nail art. We have amazing Chrome palettes to choose from as pictured above. To add chrome to your nail designs, have an old stamper available and, using the applicator in the palette, rub the color onto the stamper. Decide which design you want to chrome, stamp the CjS design using our Sticky Polish and immediately roll the stamper with the chrome onto the nail. Please make sure your background color/gel is completely tack-free so that the chrome only adheres to the design. Use a very soft dust brush to gently remove any additional chrome you don't want and, voila, you have a unique stamping design!! Below, I have stamped a Zebra print from Clear Jelly Stamper plate Wild Kingdom - Zebra (CjS-175) then applied 2 different chromes.

GLITTER

Of course I would save the best for last! Who doesn't love glitter?! For anyone
that doesn't, I'm sorry but we can't be friends lol. When using glitter in your CjS stamping designs, it is important to use a micro-fine glitter. Using a chunkier glitter won't result in a flat, flush image on the nail. A chunkier glitter will affect a crisp image as well. Stamp the design with Sticky Polish and then immediately sprinkle micro-fine glitter over the image before it dries. Let it sit on the design for about 20 seconds before gently dusting off the excess glitter with a very soft brush. This look is stunning and it gives yet another fantastic use for glitter. To achieve this design, I used the hilarious layered stamping plate from an Easter collection Eggspression (CjSH-64).

I hope you have learned something new today and I hope it has sparked a new excitement for you to start creating some great designs.
