For The Love Of Stamping

I wanted to write about the Founder & Creator of Clear Jelly Stamper in today's blog. The inventive, brilliant woman behind The Original Clear Jelly Stamper is Deb Duxbury. I am writing this blog today from my perspective, how I met Deb and how meeting her changed my nail game and the nail industry as a whole.

I'm actually ashamed to say that before October 2017, I hadn't even heard of this product. I also ask myself why because The Authentic Clear Jelly Stamper is truly a game changer for everyone who loves the art of nails. It was not created for nail professionals only which makes it even more special.

I met Debbie in Las Vegas, NV just over 3 years ago when I travelled there to work a nail show with the company I was an Educator for at the time. We were all renting a house together and we were told that Debbie and her hubby were going to be staying with us. I thought to myself...I sure hope she isn't a fuddy duddy and she puts a damper on our fun lol. Well let me say that from the moment I met this fabulous lady, I knew we were kindred spirits and that we were going to be friends for life. If you haven't met Debbie yet, then you are missing out.  Make it one of your life goals to be able to sit and have a chat with her because she is one of the smartest, most brilliant and generous people I know. Your life will be better for it. I thank the Universe every day for bringing her into my life.

She was sharing a table with us at the show and I was in awe as soon as I saw how CjS worked. Where had this been all my life?! I have been a nail technician for over 20 years and I do have the ability to hand paint but this product was a game changer!! What impresses me most about it is anybody, at any level, can use this product and produce amazing, beautiful nail art.

The Clear Jelly Stamper evolutionized the stamping world. I used to use a competitor's brand when stamping first came out, but you could not see through the stamper and if you wanted different colors in the image, you had to hand paint the colors onto it. Debbie created this product because she too was experiencing the same frustration of not being able to see through her stamper.  She had told me that it came to her while she was trying to stamp the same design, in the same spot on all 10 nails for her client. She said "Why isn't this thing clear?!". As of that moment, the idea for Clear Jelly Stamper began and thank you Debbie for that!!

This woman sat at her nail table and decided to take a chance on all that she had to go ahead with her idea. She tried prototype after prototype until she came up with a design that worked. Since then she has improved it even more and now there are a few designs to choose from like her Double-ended Bling Stamper, Baby Big BlingBig Bling in Pink and her latest release of the Bling-Cubed.

Her Clear Jelly Stamper and Layered Stamping Plates both have US & CDN patents but that hasn't stopped some companies from trying to copy her ideas. I get that Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery but it is also the most irritating for me. I get a little defensive on her behalf.

This meme made me laugh and it's so true:

I say kudos to this fabulous lady that brought us this brilliant invention and I thank her for being an amazing & authentic human to anyone that is lucky enough to cross her path.

Thank you to all of CjS's dedicated customers! Stay safe and Happy Stamping my friends 💖
