ENCHANTED TROPICS

The tropics bring thoughts of serenity, relaxation, beauty & a multitude of colors. In today's "Get The Look", we are creating a beautiful set of designs using CjS layered stamping plate CjSLC-58 "Enchanted Tropics".

Nail #1

We used KoKo & Claire gel polish 005 "Daylily" as the base color. We used Clear Jelly Stamper's nail stamping polishes #1 "More Like 1AM", #2 "Jenny's Gonna Love It", #13 "Storm Pirate", #37 "Caribbean Dream", #7 "Lynnie Loves Lavender" and #81 "Vintage Coral.

Nail #2

On this nail, we used the full coverage nail stamping design with the variety of tropical leaves. We used KoKo & Claire gel polish 016 "Sail The 7 Seas" as the base color for this nail art design. There are endless possibilities with colors when using our layered stamping plates. In this design, we used CjS stamping polish #37 "Caribbean Dream" for the body of the leaves and CjS stamping polish #2 "Jenny's Gonna Love It" for the stems. This design is simple yet so pretty.

Nail #3

Who doesn't love a stamp of a cute little lizard?! We used unconventional colors for this little guy but that's the fun part about nail art and nail stamping. You can let your imagination go wild.....or exotic. In this design, we used KoKo &Claire gel polish color 005 "Daylily" as the base color. The tropical leaves were stamped using Original Clear Jelly Stamper nail stamping polishes #13 "Storm Pirate" & #37 "Caribbean Dream". The cute little lizard was stamped using CjS nail art stamping polish #37 "Caribbean Dream" & #1 "More Like 1AM". We finished off the nail by stamping "Exotic" using #1 "More Like 1AM" nail stamping polish.

Nail #4

Here is another use of a full nail coverage stamping design from our layered stamping plate. We painted the top of the nail using KoKo & Claire gel polish 016 "Sail The 7 Seas" and covered the bottom part of the nail using KoKo & Claire gel polish 029 "Teal Me Off The Ceiling". Before curing either color, we blended the two gel polish colors into each other to give the nail an ombre look. Then, using the animal print design, we put 3 different colors of nail stamping polish on the design. Once you scrape the polish off of the plate, the 3 colors will blend into each other giving the stamping design an ombre look as well. We used CjS nail stamping colors #7 "Lynnie Loves Lavender", #37 "Caribbean Cream" and #13 "Storm Pirate".

Nail #5

We used KoKo & Claire gel polish 029 "Teal Me Off The Ceiling" as the base color for this design. Nail stamping polishes used for this layered nail stamping design are all Clear Jelly Stamper stamping polishes. #23 "Pure Cocoa" was used for the branch that the birdy is perched on. The CjS nail stamping polishes used for the Cockatoo were #7 "Lynnie Loves Lavender" for the body and #81 "Vintage Coral" for the outline and accents. The leaves were stamped with #1 "More Like 1 AM" first and then stamped again just off to the side slightly using #7 "Lynnie Loves Lavender". This is how you achieve a shadowed look.

The complete design was top coated using KoKo & Claire Matte finish. You can also use the Shine topcoat for a glossy look.
